How to get more visitors to your online store
The biggest block to selling online is getting enough visitors to your online store. If you are in that boat, then let me say we have all been there and paddling like mad to get somewhere.
In order to get those precious customers, you need to do 2 things. First you need to make your store stand out from the crowd. I don't mean make it look pretty, but stand out and be noticed by the search engines. You need to use phrases and words that people will use in their Google searches. Use those terms on your website. Use those words as titles of articles or in descriptions of your items. The second thing you need to have is a "following." You can develop a following by being active on Twitter, message boards and having your own blog that you interact with your followers. Those followers will often be your first customers.
If you just set up an online store and expect people just to show up and buy stuff, then you will be greatly disappointed. Online marketing takes work and in the beginning.......lots of it.
